announcing Q1 workshop schedule
Fall public workshops are in full swing! The public workshop is one of my favorite parts of my work: individuals from all sorts of different companies and industries come together for a day, excited to learn and discuss a topic I’m super passionate about—visualizing and telling stories with data.
We’ve had energetic groups in San Francisco and Milwaukee in the past two weeks and will have sessions in the coming weeks in NYC and London (still some space left in London!).
These 1-day workshops expand on the content in storytelling with data: a data visualization guide for business professionals, giving participants the opportunity to discuss and practice applying core lessons (understand the context, choose an appropriate display, identify & eliminate clutter, focus attention, and tell a story). Concepts are illustrated through numerous new examples. We have a ton of fun in a creativity-inspiring space. We eat good food. We give away neat swag. Attendees get a chance to ask me their questions and meet others who may be experiencing similar challenges or have success stories and strategies to share.
I’m very excited to announce my Q1 2019 public workshop schedule, which includes some brand new locations (Down Under!):
Charlotte, NC: January 30, 2019
San Francisco, CA: February 6 & February 7, 2019
I’ll be available for limited custom workshops in these cities in the days around the public workshops. Email inquiry@storytellingwithdata.com to discuss a potential session for your team or organization.
Public workshop space is limited and they usually sell out, so reserve your spot soon. Hope to see you in 2019!
